Maria Augusta Trapp wrote the story of her family and it was published in 1949.
Her book is beautifully written and has been a pleasure to read. If you're looking for a wonderful story of love and faith, this one will be just what you're looking for. Maria's narrative of the family's Holy Week devotion was just amazing - I think I'm going to try to use the 8-page selection as a book club meeting for my mom's group during Lent. If even you're not Catholic, this book will grab you from the prologue and you'll be hooked all the way to the end!
