Laura was so excited about this project that she didn't take "before" or even "during" pictures. She spent so much time sanding this baby down her arms almost fell off. Suffice it to say, when picked up @ Salvation Army for ~$45 it looked something like these pictures:
After 48 hours in her possession (and ~$30 @ Lowes for supplies) we now have this gem:
The color is "toasted oat". Paints always have such cool names. I want to be the guy that sits @ the corporate office and comes up with those. That'd rock.

For those of you truuuuuuuue blog followers, you will note this is the third S.A. acquisition to adore the shabby chic family room! The first two were the sky blue coffee table & green chair (as seen below). This room is so styling I can barely stand it! Give her another $50 at Salvation Army and she'll have us featured in nationwide interior design catalogs! lol!
