A messy Cry-It-Out and a VERY GOOD THING!

Well, Lucy cried it out to sleep tonight, and did pretty good! She's out now, and will probably sleep pretty hard for a good chunk of the night.

And on to the even better news!!! Tomorrow, we will be paying OFF our only credit card!! We've really worked hard on this, and we're both SO excited! Not only that, but we won't be draining our savings account to do it. Granted, it's not a big savings account, but now it has the potential to grow every payday! This is a huge and very exciting step in our life as a married couple and as parents, and we're so proud of ourselves. It's not easy to deny yourself all sorts of things, but we've done everything we needed to to get out of debt, and we're just flying!

Tomorrow Lucy and I are hoping for a very good day! We're going to have lunch with Daddy, and I think we'll walk the mall and try to waste a good part of the day. It's hard trying to distract her every day. She's so smart, and just wants to stay busy and learn as much as she can. I'm learning it's easier to keep her out and seeing new things. It's just hard to maintain a routine at the same time!
