This is the second time in 3 years that I've knocked a prong over to the side. The one on the bottom right got knocked out of place when I bumped it on the shower. Since this has happened twice in under two years, I think we're going to look at modifying the ring a little bit. I'll keep you updated!

I actually lost my diamond out of my ring!!!
Thank goodness Nana gave me her mom's diamond from her wedding ring....
But, I've learned to ask the jeweler to reinforce my prongs...I am tough on jewelry, I guess.
Also, do you have it appraised? Get it appraised and insured under your home owner's/renters insurance...it is like an extra $5 a month but well worth it. The appraisal is around $60 but again well worth it.
I was lucky to have it replaced with a family diamond but I don't think I could have afforded to replace my original diamond.
