It's so hard to drag yourself out of the house to go to Church when your spouse is out of town. But today is Benjamin's baptism and I realized that as his baptism is starting, it'll be Communion time here in TX, so we're going and we're going big! We're going to get all gussied up and Lucy and I will attend Mass and pray as Ben is being baptized, since we can't be there in person.
After that, we have a little Target trip and then we'll be here working on our spring cleaning. With the possibility of a move on the very near horizon, we really do need to think about Goodwill trips, eating up the food in the pantry and streamlining some of our routines. I love moving for the sheer fact that it's a great chance to start fresh, get the old stuff out and find a new groove. Bliss.
We already did the pantry and the fridge this morning, and this afternoon we're going to tackle the bathroom closets and Lucy's bedroom. After that, it'll be on to the garage, but I might wait until Andrew is home to help with that, as it requires more talking. So maybe we'll move on to the "holiday closet" next and work through our decorations and the girls' keepsake boxes. I need to update some baby books anyway, so today would be a good day for that.
