Halloween!

Holy Cow, y'all. This is a big post.

Let's just jump right in, shall we?

Lucy carving her little pumpkin. She insisted and there was really no way around it without a massive meltdown, so Andrew manfully accepted the challenge of carving a pie pumpkin.

You thought this was going to be 100% happy? It's a holiday, after all.

Molly tried on her pumpkin hat early on in the week and it was just adorable. Stay tuned for alarming results.

Lucy managed to participate in the events AND care for her baby.

Molly learns to carve pumpkins.

Daddy and Lu getting ready for Halloween!

This was pumpkin carving night - Lucy was kind enough to entertain Molly, and boy is that cute!

The finished product!

Anyway...

Mo waiting for ghost pancakes on Halloween morning!

Fed, dressed and ready to haunt!

Since it was so hot on Halloween, Lucy was a "foobaw" player during the day.

For dinner we picked up a Jack-o-Lantern pizza from Papa Murphy's!

Alarming results: What was a cute pumpkin the week before bears a closer resemblance to an orange Frenchman the day of.

Out of order pic. This is Sunday and it wouldn't let me delete! Disregard.

Lucy was VERY excited about "tickoteeting"

On Sunday we took the girls to the MMA.

Lucy was so excited by the giant horse!

Lucy thought this was amazing. The entire piece is all hard candies, individually wrapped. She was just stunned!

How is this not the perfect photo opp?

Watching the reflecting pool.

Also out of order.

This sculpture was just too neat!

Molly loved...the lobby.

They had an Andy Warhol exhibit there. I love his stuff!

All in all, it was an awesome weekend! We've spent the past two days recovering and may be able to fully function by NEXT weekend. It was exhausting, but the girls had a blast and Lucy's still telling everyone she sees that she's a monkey!
