As heard from the kitchen.

This was a conversation between Lucy (who is endlessly patient) and Molly (who is 2) while they were playing with Play-Doh. Pretty sure this is a word-for-word account.

"Mowwy, can you hand me the orange ice cream cone?"

"What?"

"Can you hand me the ice cream cone?"

"What?"

"Can you hand me the ice cream cone?"

"What?"

"Ice cream cone. Right there."

"What?"

"The orange one - right there."

"What?"

"Look, right next to your hand."

"Oh. Okay. Why?"

"Because I'm making ice cream."

"Why?"

"I said I'm making ice cream."

"What?"

"Ice cream."

"What?"

"Ice cream. In a cone."

"Oh. I eat dat."

"No, it's not for you."

"What?"
