Back and Pooped!

Well, Lucy and I had a great week downstate, visiting with family and resting up. Resting, however, is not what it seems when you're researching doctors, working on Christmas presents and chasing an 18-month-old. We came home to snow and will be spending today grocery shopping and getting the house in order! I came home to a perfectly kept house and a dozen roses, but Lucy's trip to the ER erased my relief at being home after we had to spend the evening wondering how concussed she really was. She flipped over backwards off a chair and a landed on her head on the hard wood. Once she started throwing up, I ran her to the ER. She was acting fine, but when we got home she just passed out on the couch, leaving us to spend the rest of the evening calling doctors and trying to figure out if she was ok! Long night! She seems to be fine now, but we're going to have a very quiet day and try to rest a lot.
