So Lucy's pediatrician and I decided that 1) Mama needs a break and 2) Maybe a little trip out of town would help to jog Lucy's internal clock a little. So we spent yesterday doing laundry and getting packed, and we're going to head down to the Merkel house to hang out while Daddy catches up on work and gets some studying done.
Of course, today is the morning that Lucy slept til 6 and is hanging out in bed, talking to herself like a mad scientist. It would figure that we turn a corner on the morning we plan to leave town.
