Pooped.

Y'all, it's been a great day. Cleaned the house a little, took the girls to the playground, went to the gym, ate Sloppy Joes...all in all, not a complaint. Well, Suz left. That wasn't cool. Lucy had a total fit because "shuz" was going on an airplane and she wasn't. You'll recall that recent airplane rides led to Grandparental bonding. So, talking Lucy into positive thinking was rough on this one. When we got home from the grocery store today, Lucy said, "my nails need more paint. That's okay. Shuz can do it waita." You KNOW I just kept my mouth shut and ignored the entire statement.
Tomorrow will prove to be awesome as well. Big plans in little C-Ville. Zumba at 9, Salvation Army to check out the weekend goods, and then home to rearrange the house. Well, start to, anyway. We're moving the desk to the living room and the play kitchen to the office to create more of a playroom. Like any good chef, Lucy has a flair for the dramatic in the kitchen, leaving food strewn everywhere. Stray plastic potatoes become mashed potatoes in a blink when they're all over the house, so I think containing the kitchen is the answer.
Additionally, we love Skype but we can't Skype without a way to distract the kids, and the office is way too small for chatting, playing and successful Skyping, so we think moving the Mac to the formal living room will give us a better chance to talk to the people we love. (this means you, Grandma Susie!) And, if the computer is in the living room, we can watch Netflix on it too.
And let's face it: the living room needs more action.
