Laura - I have been there, in that same situation only minus the kids. It was Christmas 2003. My hubby had been in Kuwait/Iraq for almost a year and he got to come home for 2weeks over Christmas. Its been 5 years, so much has changed since then, yet my eyes still well up thinking about it and how I felt when I saw him walk off that plane. I never take for granted the time we have together cause I know how it feels to be without him. The whole experience changed me forever.

That is so sweet! She is a such a cute little girl. Every girl loves their daddy. So nice she got her wish. Gives me warm fuzzies.

i do not cry easily, but that just filled my eyes right up- the sweet, innocence of her voice- overwhelming!!
