Starting The Year Out Right

Well, we came down to get Lucy and we were greeted by a very tired, sick, snotty, teething angel. Boy did we miss her! She learned how to climb out of her Pack-n-Play while visiting, so that's another hurdle we'll have to get over...hm. We've been laying down with her to get her out cold, and then we put her in the Pack-n-Play, but that's getting old already. I really hope the crib is more of an obstacle. It should be; she's only the size of a 12 month-old...big fat Pregnant Mommy is not ready for moving her into a "big girl bed." I'm hoping to wait until...2010.
We had a lovely brunch with the Beck/Bonners this morning, and then we went to my 32/33 week appointment. Phoebe is doing just fine and as a reward for her good behavior, I took her in the hot tub tonight. I'm such a nice Mama.
Tomorrow we'll be doing brunch in Havre de Grace and then running back here for dinner with the other side of the family. On Sunday we'll be doing Church and then the Ravens game before packing up our child and our dog and heading back up into the mountains. Anyone have any ides for doggie carsickness??? Last night's trip down was UGLY.

We have to give our dog dramamine when we travel because he has horrid car sickness. Our dog weighs 15 lbs and he gets half a pill (per the vet). Also..no eating before you leave and leave a window cracked so he can get fresh air. good luck!!

Hi Laura,

Chloe gets carsick when we go camping...we just open the window a little big and let her get fresh air... really helps. Plus, it helps for her to see where she is going. I get carsick easily too and if I can see in front of me I do much better.

Poor Chloe doesn't get to camp often and she doesn't go for car rides any other time either so it is a new experience for her.

Love,
Tammy
